Series 786 User-friendly Pad Printing Ink with excellent resistance

Printcolor's new 2C pad printing ink Series 786 is a highly glossy, extremely resistant and highly opaque ink system for the production of technical components, automotive partes, toys, childcare products and bottle caps. With its environmental and user-friendly formulation Series 786 provides the best possible protection of people and the environment. The ink series fulfills the strict requirements of EN 71-3:2013 (printing on toys). Furthermore, all substances are listet in the Swiss Ordinance on Materials and Articles.

Best possible protection of people and environment

An important reason for the launch of Series 786 is the best possible protection of people who come into contact with either the liquid or the printed inks:

  • One of the raw materials used in the preceding Series 784 that has been classified as critical since the changeover to the international labeling system GHS, is no longer present.
  • Series 786 is free of PAH and printers as well as end-users will benefit from this.
  • The ink does not contain halogens which can cause risks to the environment and people.

Series 786 offers a mixing system, four process colors as well as many special colors and effects; all free of PAH and halogens.

Swiss Ordinance on Materials and Articles

All substances of Series 786 are listed in the Swiss Ordinance on Materials and Articles (SR 817.023.21).

Use on toys

These days, inks of low emission are an important requirement for use in all sectors of the printing industry. Stricter requirements, contained in the norm EN 71 3:2013, apply for printing on toys. Series 786 fulfills all requirements of this norm.
