Printcolor is presenting new developments in the fields of UV screen printing inks and protective coatings at the FESPA 2017 (Hall A4, C48). The new UVplast product range combines glossy UV screen printing inks for functional and decorative printing of plastics and coatings. The comprehensive, high-quality assortment of protective coatings enhances the longevity of prints.
UV screen printing ink for plastics, coatings and paper
Printcolor is presenting the new UV screen printing ink Series 552 for decorative and functional printing on various plastics, coatings and paper. The series, which is typically used for labels, signs and cosmetics, demonstrates an exceptionally well-balanced property profile and was developed with a consumer-friendly formulation. It is based on modern, user-friendly materials and is free from bisphenol A (BPA). The resulting color films are flexible, offer good chemical and block resistance and are suitable for medium-term outdoor use. In addition, UVplast offers very good mechanical resistance.
Protective coatings for long-term outdoor use
Printcolor is also introducing new protective coatings at the FESPA. The new and highly durable, water-based, flexible protection varnish Series 482-6700 is particularly well suited for use on third generation HP latex inks as well as on all common inkjet inks. Typical applications include tarpaulins, advertising banners, foils and fabric mesh, which are protected by easyPROTECT 2.0 for long-term, outdoor use. Printcolor and Squid Inks will also be presenting other 2K and UV protective coatings at the FESPA.
easyGRAPH – effects for impressive finishes
Printcolor's easyGRAPH product range brings together an array of special finishing possibilities for printing. Visual, tactile, olfactory and interactive effects make brochures, flyers and other advertising materials even more attractive – thus allowing customers to better reach their target groups.
Printcolor will introduce its new products and existing portfolio from May 8 – 12 2017 at the FESPA in Hamburg (Hall A4, Stand C48), where it will be joined by affiliate Squid Inks Ltd. Squid Inks specializes in UV inks, coatings and adhesives for industrial, graphic and technical applications. Much like Printcolor, the company works closely with customers to develop customized solutions.
